The optimized ratios of CMIT/MIT and Formaldehyde provide excellent bacterial and fungal control and help to prevent the growth of resistant strains of micro-organisms. This biocide may be employed in binders for final products. It is a liquid biocide and has been used as a preservative in a variety of industrial applications and products like water-based adhesives, polymer emulsions, water based decorative paints, metal working fluids, construction chemicals, etc. It can be fed directly from the drum or diluted with water. The dilution ratio depends upon the use & can be from 0.1%. It is completely soluble in water. Slightly acidic pH are preferred. It is stable up to ph 8.5.
